Beautiful little slice of nature. Need to be careful driving down there due tue the road wideness. Dogs need to be on the lead at all times due to the animal wild life and the other dogs. Can be busy during half terms and long weekends, tho they have 2 car parks I never had problem finding a spot yet. Definetly recommended for nature lovers, bird watchers and ppl who like to have a break from the everyday grinding (leave your phone alone).

I can't say too much about the nature reserve as we usually call in to use the cafe. It is very popular though. However, really nice cafe!

Such a special place - great wildlife, great facilities at the visitor centre, and the food is always really good. We’ve had a couple of Xmas meals there and they’ve been the best we’ve had! Always great events on, like the high tide breakfasts and walks. We pay for an annual car park ticket as very reasonable and always a good excuse to go and have some coffee and cake if not enough time to go for a walk!

What a lovely place for a walk, then nice food in the cafe. Maps available in the visitor centre to decide on your walk. Proper paths too. We had a lovely walk down to the sea. We saw seals and a variety of birds. Lovely food, cooked fresh in the cafe and friendly people. What more could you want?

Nice walk to clear the cobwebs off after Christmas. Will go back when better weather though.
